The Polyline has a global width that is set to a thicker lineweight in the drawing. This occurs often on existing files, but new files work as expected. The Welcome dialog will be displayed next time the application is launched. When drawing Polylines in AutoCAD, they appear too thick and cannot be adjusted by editing the Lineweight.
